Joseph: Bitterness, Betrayal & Blessing - The Son Introduced

Much of the latter part of Genesis is devoted to Joseph. Were it not for the account of his life, we would not have as good an understanding of the history of Israel and the Exodus. His life also stands as a great example and encouragement for godly character and perseverance in adversity. One of the greatest reasons to study Joseph’s life is the fact he is an Old Testament representation of Christ. He stands as a type or picture of the coming Messiah.
