The Roots of Faith - Genesis 12:1-4

There is a profound difference between being safe and being saved. Many of us spend our entire lives building fortresses of comfort—clinging to our hometowns, our predictable routines, and our familiar circles. But comfort can easily become a cage that keeps us from our destiny. In Genesis 12, God walks up to a 75-year-old man settled in his ways and essentially says, "To receive the blessing, you have to leave the cage."
